Product description
1060 aluminium foil at 0.03 mm is supplied in H22 for insulation facing, cable wrap and general industrial conversion. It is available in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm and on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
At 0.03 mm the foil is light enough to laminate onto a carrier without adding significant weight, and strong enough to survive unwinding and wrapping at production speed. H22 gives a partially hardened temper, which is why this combination is often specified where the facing has to stay flat but still be flexible enough to fold around a duct or a cable bundle.
Surface condition decides how well the foil accepts an adhesive or a coating. At this thickness 1060 foil is supplied mill finish or bright, and can be specified for downstream coating or adhesive lamination; tell us the adhesive or coating system and the intended substrate so that the surface can be agreed in advance.
Typical uses include insulation facing and vapour barrier constructions, cable wrap and shielding, and general industrial wrapping. Where the foil is supplied as a substrate rather than a finished facing, the surface has to suit the coating line rather than the end application.
Rolls are supplied eye to sky or eye to wall on wooden pallets with a moisture barrier wrap for sea freight. Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the required temper, width and core diameter together with the process step that follows ours, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
