Aluminium Foil Roll & Sheet

<p>Aluminium foil roll and sheet is the starting point for most converting lines, and the specification decides how well the material runs on yours. We supply jumbo rolls for re-rollers and converters, and finished rolls cut to the width your machine actually takes, in alloys 1050, 1235, 8011 and 8079, with tempers from soft O through H22 and H24 to hard H18.</p><h2>Gauge, width and core</h2><p>Thickness is quoted from 0.006 mm up to 0.2 mm, with width from 100 mm to 1500 mm and a core diameter of 76 mm or 152 mm. Rolls are supplied eye to sky or eye to wall on wooden pallets, interleaved where the surface has to stay unmarked, wrapped with a moisture barrier for sea freight, and slit to narrow widths against a tolerance agreed with your own line rather than against a catalogue figure.</p><h2>Choosing the alloy for your process</h2><p>The choice of alloy matters more than most buyers expect. Alloy 1235 and 8079 are the usual answer for flexible packaging and lidding because of their forming behaviour, while 8011 is the workhorse for containers, closures and pharmaceutical laminates. Where a surface has to accept printing, lacquer or adhesive, the temper and the mill finish both have to be right, not just the gauge.</p><h2>What to send with your enquiry</h2><p>Typical uses are flexible packaging, lidding stock, insulation facings, heat-exchanger fins and adhesive tape substrate. Tell us the alloy, temper, gauge, width, core diameter and roll diameter and we will quote against that specification rather than a generic description. Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai.</p>
