<p>Pharmaceutical foil is the least forgiving product on a converting site. A blister line runs at speed, the forming and lidding foils have to register exactly, and a pinhole in the wrong place stops being a quality issue and becomes a patient-safety one.</p><h2>Forming, lidding and heat-seal lacquer</h2><p>We supply forming and lidding foil in alloys 8011 and 8021, in soft O for forming cavities and H18 where the lid has to stay flat and print cleanly. Thickness is typically 0.02 mm to 0.03 mm for lidding, with heavier gauges for deep-draw forming. Where the lidding carries an HSL heat-seal lacquer, the lacquer weight and the seal window have to be matched to your sealing roller temperature and dwell, so send the machine parameters and we will quote a lacquer specification rather than a generic one.</p><h2>Properties that decide whether the foil runs</h2><p>The critical properties are not only gauge and width. Thickness tolerance, pinhole count, surface cleanliness, coating weight and flatness all decide whether the foil runs or fights you, which is why every batch is inspected on those parameters and not on gauge alone.</p><h2>Regulated markets</h2><p>Because this is a regulated use, tell us the market at the enquiry stage so the compliance paperwork can be prepared in parallel with the quotation instead of after it. Rolls are moisture-barrier wrapped and packed in wooden cases. Minimum order quantity is 1 MT per size, and slit width, print and lacquer type are all specified to your blister line.</p>
