Product description
1100 aluminium foil at 0.03 mm in H18 is an industrial grade, supplied 1000 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The industrial range runs from 0.02 mm to 0.20 mm. At 0.03 mm this product sits near the thin end of that band, which is the part of the range used where the foil is a facing, a shield or a barrier rather than a structural part.
1100 is a low-alloyed grade, and that is the point of it here. It forms and folds more willingly than the manganese-bearing alloys, so it can be wrapped around a corner, pressed into a shallow shape or folded at an edge without cracking. Where the job needs stiffness instead, the heavier industrial gauges or a stronger alloy do that work better.
H18 is the hard temper supplied here. Full hard gives the foil stiffness as it leaves the roll, so a facing stays flat across a span, cuts cleanly and does not sag between supports. Soft temper is available where the foil has to follow a shape instead.
What decides the specification is the job, not the alloy table: whether the foil is bonded to a substrate or used unsupported, whether it will be seen, whether it will be folded at an edge, and how it will be jointed. Those questions settle gauge and temper, and they are answered against the customer's own part rather than from a catalogue.
Typical uses include industrial shielding layers, technical facing work and general fabrication where a light gauge is needed.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the part, the width and the process, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
