Product description
3003 aluminium foil at 0.08 mm in H24 is a heavier gauge for industrial insulation jacketing and formed parts, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The industrial and technical range quotes 0.02 mm to 0.2 mm in 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 3004 and 8011 alloy, with temper from O through to H24. At 0.08 mm the foil is no longer a wrapping material: it holds its own shape, takes a fold without tearing and can be cut and fitted on site, which is why jacketing and formed covers sit at this end of the range.
3003 is the manganese-bearing alloy in that group, and it is usually chosen where the part has to keep its form rather than drape. Half-hard H24 gives a sheet that springs back slightly when it is bent, so an overlap stays closed instead of opening up, and the surface stands up to the scuffing that comes with handling on a scaffold.
Jacketing is specified by the job rather than by the catalogue: the diameter being covered, whether the surface will be walked on, whether the installation is indoors or exposed, and how the seams will be closed. Those answers decide the gauge, the temper and the width, and they are worth settling before the order rather than after it.
Typical uses include industrial insulation jacketing, formed covers and guards, and general fabrication where a self-supporting sheet is needed.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the application, the width you need and the finish you want, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
