Pharmaceutical aluminum foil is produced in 8011 and 8021 alloy, typically 0.02 to 0.025 mm hard temper. It is supplied plain or coated with a heat seal lacquer that bonds to PVC, PVDC and PP blister films.
Each batch is inspected for thickness tolerance, pin holes, surface cleanliness and coating weight. Rolls are sealed in barrier bags to protect the lacquer from moisture during shipment.
