Product description
1050 aluminium foil at 0.05 mm in H18 is a general purpose roll, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores and available plain or lacquered.
The roll and sheet range quotes thickness from 0.006 mm up to 0.2 mm, width from 100 mm to 1500 mm and a core diameter of 76 mm or 152 mm. At 0.05 mm the foil sits in the middle of that span, which is the part of the range bought when a job needs a sheet that holds a shape but still bends by hand.
1050 is the lowest-alloyed grade in the range. It is soft, forms easily and takes a fold without cracking, which is why it turns up where the foil is bent around a corner or pressed into a simple shape rather than left flat. Half-hard H18 gives it enough body to stay flat across a wide web while still being workable at the bench.
Because the grade is unalloyed, it is also the one customers ask for when they want a plain surface rather than a particular strength: lacquer and print sit on a consistent, bright face. Where the foil is supplied unlacquered, the surface is what the customer's own coating or adhesive meets, so it is agreed before the order rather than assumed afterwards.
Typical uses include general purpose rolls, formed and folded parts, and conversion stock where the foil is cut or shaped after delivery.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the gauge, the slit width and the surface you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
