Product description
1060 aluminium foil at 0.012 mm in H18 is a thin-gauge roll for battery and energy applications, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The battery and energy range publishes foil from 0.005 mm to 0.20 mm in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm, and 1060 is the alloy that range already uses. At 0.012 mm this product covers the thin end of that span, which is where the foil is supplied as a carrier or substrate layer rather than as a finished part: the customer's own process puts the active material or the coating onto it.
Because the foil is an input to someone else's line rather than an end product, three things decide whether it runs well. First, gauge consistency across the width — a web that varies from edge to edge will not coat evenly. Second, surface condition, since the coating or the laminate has to bond to what the mill actually delivered. Third, slitting quality: a rolled-over edge or a burr shows up as a defect hundreds of metres into the run.
Hard temper H18 is what keeps a gauge this thin handleable. The web stays flat under tension instead of stretching or creasing as it passes the coating station, and the roll does not telescope when it is unwound at speed.
Typical uses include battery and energy storage components, coating and lamination substrates, and other thin-gauge work where the foil is processed further.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the gauge, the slit width your line runs and the surface condition you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
