Product description
1060 aluminium foil at 0.04 mm in H18 is a heavier gauge for energy components, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The battery and energy range runs from 0.005 mm to 0.20 mm. At 0.04 mm this product sits above the thin band used for current-carrying plies, where the part is a tab, a connector or a housing element rather than a foil that has to be as light as possible.
1060 is a low-alloyed grade, and that is what makes it useful here. It bends and forms predictably, it joins easily, and it does not bring the higher strength of a manganese-bearing alloy into a part that is designed around ductility.
H18 is the hard temper supplied. It gives the part stiffness as it leaves the roll, cuts cleanly and holds its shape during assembly, where a soft foil of the same gauge would deform under handling.
What decides the specification is the part and the joint, not the gauge alone: whether the foil is welded, riveted or clamped, whether it is formed before or after joining, and what the finished component has to survive. Those questions are answered against the customer's own design, and the numbers behind them belong to that design.
Typical uses include energy component tabs, connectors and heavier formed parts.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the part, the joint and the width, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
