Product description
1060 aluminium foil at 0.015 mm in H18 is a thin-gauge roll for battery and energy components, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The battery and energy range publishes foil from 0.005 mm to 0.20 mm in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm, and 1060 is the alloy the range uses most. At 0.015 mm the foil sits between the thinnest gauges and the heavier coating stocks, which is the band a customer moves into when the process needs a little more web strength without giving up the flat, even surface a coating station depends on.
What changes as the gauge goes up is not the alloy but the handling. A slightly heavier web resists the tension of a longer run, carries a coated layer with less show-through, and is more forgiving of a small misalignment at the unwind. What does not change is the requirement underneath: the gauge has to be consistent across the width, the surface has to be what the customer's process expects, and the slit edge has to be clean enough to run hundreds of metres without a defect appearing.
Hard temper H18 keeps the web flat under tension so it does not stretch or crease at the coating station, and keeps the roll from telescoping when it is unwound at speed.
Typical uses include battery and energy components, coating substrates and other thin-gauge work where the foil is processed further.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the gauge, the slit width and the surface condition you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
