Product description
1235 aluminium foil at 0.006 mm is a thin converter gauge supplied for flexible packaging laminates, lidding and sachets. It is available in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm and on 76 mm or 152 mm cores, so it can be specified to suit an existing lamination or printing line rather than trimmed on site.
The 1235 alloy is one of the grades most often specified for light-gauge conversion, because it combines the formability that a laminating step needs with the surface quality that printing and adhesive bonding require. Foil at this gauge is supplied mill finish or bright, and smooth or embossed, depending on whether the next process is adhesive lamination, lacquering or printing. Gauge and width tolerance are agreed against your line rather than taken from a catalogue.
Typical uses include flexible packaging laminates for food and non-food products, lidding and lid film, sachets, pouches and stick packs, and dairy or confectionery wrapping. Where the foil is to be lacquered or laminated downstream, tell us the coating or adhesive system so that the surface condition can be agreed before the specification is fixed.
Rolls are supplied eye to sky or eye to wall on wooden pallets with a moisture barrier wrap for sea freight. Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Slit width, core diameter and roll diameter can be specified to order. Send the target thickness and tolerance, the slit width, the core diameter and the process step that follows ours, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
