Product description
1235 aluminium foil at 0.008 mm is a thin-gauge roll, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores and annealed for conversion or lamination.
The roll and sheet range quotes thickness from 0.006 mm up to 0.2 mm, with width from 100 mm to 1500 mm and a core diameter of 76 mm or 152 mm. At 0.008 mm this product sits close to the thin end of that range, which is where the foil is bought as a master-width roll and slit down by the converter rather than bought pre-cut.
Buying master width makes sense when one roll has to feed more than one finished width. The converter slits what the current order needs and keeps the balance for the next one, so the roll has to arrive flat and evenly wound: a roll that has picked up a crease or a slack edge at the mill cannot be recovered at the slitter.
Soft temper O is what makes a gauge this thin workable. The foil stays pliable enough to follow the customer's own web path without cracking, and it laminates or coats evenly instead of springing away from the adhesive. Because the gauge is thin, edge quality and roll hardness matter more here than in heavier products, and both are agreed with the customer before the order rather than assumed.
Typical uses include conversion and lamination stock, lids and sachets, and thin-gauge general wrapping.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the slit widths your line runs, the core diameter and the surface you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
