Product description
1235 aluminium foil at 0.009 mm is a light household gauge, supplied 300 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores and available plain or embossed.
The household range is supplied in 8011 and 1235 alloy, from 0.008 mm for a light wrap upwards, with household widths from 290 mm to 450 mm. At 0.009 mm the foil sits one step above the lightest gauge the range covers, which is the band a retailer chooses when the roll has to feel substantial in the hand without the wrap becoming heavy for everyday use.
Gauge at this end of the range is a trade-off between two things the buyer can see. A lighter gauge puts more length on a roll of the same diameter, so the pack looks generous on the shelf; the same lighter gauge is also less forgiving at the tear edge and more easily punctured in handling. Moving up the range buys margin at the edge and costs length. There is no universally correct answer, which is why the gauge is fixed against the roll diameter, the stated length and the way the product is packed rather than in isolation.
Surface can be supplied plain or embossed. Embossing stiffens the sheet, keeps the layers apart on the roll so they unwind without snatching, and hides the creasing that shows up as a roll is used. Roll length, core diameter and outer packaging can all be specified to order.
Typical uses include light household rolls, catering rolls and interleaved sheets.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the roll length, core diameter and packaging you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
