8011 aluminium foil at 0.02 mm is a household and catering gauge, supplied 300 mm wide and on 76 mm or 152 mm cores. It is the upper end of the usual household width range, so it suits catering rolls, food-service dispensers and larger retail formats rather than a standard domestic box.
At 0.02 mm the foil holds its shape when it is wrapped or folded, which is why this thickness is specified where the material has to stay put rather than simply cover a surface. 8011 is one of the grades most often used for household and food-service foil because it combines formability with a surface that accepts embossing and print.
The foil is supplied plain or embossed. Embossing is a practical choice rather than a decorative one: it stiffens the sheet, it separates the layers on the roll so they unwind cleanly, and it hides the light creasing that appears with use. Where the foil is intended for direct food contact, tell us the destination market so that the paperwork which applies to that market can be prepared alongside the quotation.
Roll length, width and core diameter can be specified to order, with or without a cutter box, and the same gauge can be supplied as interleaved pop-up sheets where a dispenser format is required.
