Product description
8011 aluminium foil at 0.012 mm is a household roll gauge, supplied 300 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores and available plain or embossed.
The household range is supplied in 8011 and 1235 alloy, from 0.008 mm for a light wrap upwards, with roll widths from 290 mm to 450 mm and catering rolls up to 600 mm. At 0.012 mm the foil sits just above the lightest gauge: a roll still carries a useful length at a sensible diameter, and the sheet has enough body that it does not tear as it comes off the roll under the pull of a dispenser.
That balance is what decides the gauge for a retail programme. Go thinner and the roll runs out sooner for the same diameter, or tears at the tear edge; go heavier and the same length costs more metal than the wrap needs. 0.012 mm is the middle of that trade-off, which is why it appears in so many programmes rather than at either end of the range.
Surface can be supplied plain or embossed. Embossing is a working choice rather than a decorative one: it stiffens the sheet, keeps the layers apart on the roll so they unwind without snatching, and hides the creasing that shows up as a roll is used. Roll length, core diameter and outer packaging can all be specified to order.
Typical uses include household rolls, catering rolls and interleaved sheets.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the roll length, core diameter and packaging you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
