Product description
1235 aluminium foil at 0.025 mm in O temper is a heavy converter web, supplied 1200 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
The foil-roll range runs from 0.006 mm to 0.20 mm. At 0.025 mm this product sits above the thin converter band and below the container band, which is the part of the range where the foil is thick enough to be handled unsupported and still thin enough to be laminated.
That position is what the gauge buys. A web at this thickness can bridge a gap between rollers, hold tension across a wide line and run without creasing, which a thinner ply cannot do without support. It also carries more material per square metre, so the laminate gains body without gaining another layer.
O temper is fully soft. The metal conforms at the laminating nip and folds at an edge without cracking, and at this gauge it keeps enough body to stay flat where a thinner soft foil would sag.
What decides the specification is the structure rather than the gauge on its own: which face is bonded, whether the foil is the food-contact layer, how the web is supported on its path, and what the finished laminate has to survive. Those questions are answered against the customer's own structure.
Typical uses include heavy converter webs, laminate plies that need body, and technical facing layers.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the structure, the width and the line, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
