Product description
3004 aluminium foil at 0.07 mm is a semi-rigid gauge supplied for container stock and trays. It is available in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm and on 76 mm or 152 mm cores.
At 0.07 mm the foil sits in the middle of the container range: thick enough to hold a wall and a corner radius after drawing, thin enough to keep the container economical on a per-unit basis. That balance is why this gauge is commonly specified for takeaway trays, baking and roasting pans, catering containers and lids. Alloy and temper have to match the depth of draw and the wall thickness of the container rather than a catalogue figure, so a container is usually quoted against the part itself.
Surface condition matters where the container is printed, lacquered or laminated after forming. 3004 foil at this thickness is supplied mill finish or bright, and can be specified for downstream coating; tell us the coating system and the intended use so that the surface can be agreed in advance.
Typical uses include takeaway trays and bowls, airline and catering containers, baking and roasting pans, and lids and smoothwall containers. Where the container has to go from freezer to oven without distortion, tell us the temperature range the part will see.
Rolls are supplied eye to sky or eye to wall on wooden pallets with a moisture barrier wrap for sea freight. Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the container dimensions, the draw depth and the required temper, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
