Product description
8079 aluminium foil at 0.015 mm is a converter gauge for flexible laminates, supplied 1000 mm wide on 76 mm or 152 mm cores and available plain, lacquered or pre-laminated.
The packaging range sets out the converter side of the business: light-gauge foil for flexible laminates, lids, sachets and pouches is supplied from 0.006 mm in 1235, 8079 and 8011 alloy. 0.015 mm sits above the thinnest end of that range, which is where the foil still has to run through a coating or laminating line without the web fluttering or creasing as it is tensioned.
At this gauge the foil is rarely the outer surface of the pack. It is the barrier layer inside a structure, bonded to a print film on one side and a sealant film on the other, and it is the converter who decides which layer does what. That makes the surface condition the first thing to agree: whether the foil is supplied plain for your own adhesive, lacquered, or pre-laminated to a film you specify.
Width is slit to the web your line runs, anywhere inside the 100 mm to 1500 mm range, and the core diameter is 76 mm or 152 mm depending on your unwinder.
Typical uses include flexible laminates, lids and sachets, pouch structures, and coating or lamination substrates.
Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai. Send the laminate structure, the slit width and the surface you need, and we will confirm the specification that fits.
