We supply aluminium foil for packaging, food, pharmaceutical, household, HVAC, heat exchanger and industrial applications, in a wide range of alloys, tempers, thicknesses and widths. Common alloys are 1050, 1060, 1100, 1235, 3003, 3004, 8011 and 8021.
The alloy and temper decide how the foil behaves on your line, so we quote against the application rather than against the gauge alone. 1235 and 8079 are the usual choice for flexible packaging and lidding because of their forming behaviour; 8011 is the workhorse for containers, closures and pharmaceutical laminates; 3003 and 3004 are used where a container has to hold its shape under load.
Surfaces are supplied mill finish or bright, smooth or embossed, as a roll, a jumbo roll or a cut sheet. Thickness and width are customised to the application and to your machine, with slitting, core diameter and roll diameter agreed to suit your converting equipment. Tell us the alloy, temper, gauge, width and final application and we will confirm the specification that fits.
