Aluminium foil for battery applications is supplied from our published thin-gauge range, from 0.005 mm to 0.20 mm, in widths from 100 mm to 1500 mm on 76 mm or 152 mm cores. Battery materials are listed among the applications our aluminium foil covers, and this page is the product-level specification for that use.
Alloy and temper are taken from the published range - 1050, 1060, 1100, 1235, 3003, 3004, 8011, 8021 and 8079, in tempers from soft O through H14, H16, H18, H22 and H24. Final thickness, temper and surface finish are confirmed against your own process rather than fixed in advance, because the step that follows ours is what decides the requirement. Surface is supplied mill finish or bright, smooth or embossed, plain or supplied for downstream coating and lamination.
Tell us the target thickness and tolerance, the slit width and width tolerance, the core diameter, and the process step after ours. Rolls are supplied eye to sky or eye to wall on wooden pallets with a moisture barrier wrap for sea freight. Minimum order quantity is 3 MT per size, and loading is from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai.
